Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

Please forget the link for these Hokas. I just was told it is a scam!
Sorry.

My podiatrist suggested New Balance which I bought for $250+- and they were not comfortable. Off I went to shoe shore and just started trying on everything and bought Eazy Spirit tennis shoes, put a silicone support for my toes in it and all seems fine with these.
However, yesterday I wore my Ecco sandles with a silicone support all day and went to dinner in them and at about 1 am my legs cramped and brougt me to tears. The only thing I can think is that normally I take Magnesium before bed and for the last couple of days did not. I was up again at 3 am and took a pain pill ( Gabapentin) and the Magnesium and finally fell back to sleep asking my husband to wake me at 9 a.m. for the arrival of some work being done on the floors of our home. Anyone experiencing leg cramps and if so what are you doing to prevent them???
Thanks to all and anyone who can help with this and have a good day.
I have found a compression ankle, that I sleep in, and a good tennis shoe with a box toe, and a zero heel. I hope this helps
I am turning 70 years old and have recently come down with neuropathy in both feet. I have been a runner most my life and I currently teach exercise classes for seniors. In addition I work for a cancer non profit where I teach meditation and visualization. I have found for myself the hardest thing to accept is, our bodies break down. This can happen at different times in our lives. No matter how much you've taken care of your physical health it's going to happen. This is my struggle, acceptance without resignation. I have found little help from the medical system for this thing called neuropathy unfortunately. I started my you tube channel Old Vine Zen initially for my cancer patients, but now, with my new diagnoses, I realize it can help all of us. Come and visit my channel, sit with me as we travel down the road with this terrible condition. If we can't walk down the path, we can at least imagine a more peaceful existence. Everything starts with the imagination, right?
My podiatrist recommended Hokas and I love mine. As a general rule, I don’t feel my neuropathy while wearing them.
Janetlee. How does one locate Old Vine Zen? I am into the music, some tai chi exercises and the believe that it is mind over matter and that we become what we thing about most of the time. I just turned 80 and every day I get up and telll my self that 80 is the new 60...therefore I become 60 and go about my day with that in mind.
Thanks for your post,

Try Sketchers. Its the last thing left that I can tolerate
any ideas for shoes that lessen slipping off brakes. the type of sole that will help this.
Thanks
Nice to meet you! You are certainly on the right track with your Tai Chi and your commitment to mind over matter. You would go to you tube and put in Old Vine Zen. Let me know if I can help.
Many thanks. I'll try that later. "J"
