@nodunk

Read my post today. Botox worked for me with no side effects.

I am grateful in many ways that I did not have the shingles near my head or face. Botox is not for where I got it - back, butt and side. I wish it did.

I tried all those things also except SCS. The lidocaine cream helps a little bit. Like you I am so discussed. My doctor says it will eventually but after 3 1/2 years I am thinking not.

I have been told and read that this is a permanent condition. Thus, the implants, the pills, the creams, on and on. I have not tried Ketamine. Has any out there tried Ketamine?

I don’t get anything new after surgery till 10weeks ago. Surgery was in 2015. My dentist had to pull a big tooth. I had the right side operated on. Since the tooth got pulled I’m in pain on Left side. My ear, my teeth quits in the middle of teeth. I know this pain, I’m taking Lyrica.

I’ve had it now 8 months. I’m going crazy. Nothing helps it at all.

I was told it’s a lifetime condition. They mentioned a pain pump, but what kind of life would that be! Lidocaine helps just a little for about 30 minutes. Nothing else works at all! I feel like my life is just worthless.

My neurologist said he can’t do anything. After he took my money. I don’t understand why he had me go do all the MRI, MRA and come back.

Clinical hypnotherapy has been beneficial for some people with this persistent symptom, as had acupuncture. Both are worth a try to help minimize the pain.

No, it has not. i have just learned to live with the burning, itching, stinging and pain. i have tried everything that i have been able to come across that might have helped. The condition is still very distracting and i loose focus quite bit. I do not do drugs. If there is anyone who has anything that will help, I would like to know about it.

Have you tried lidocaine. There’s a 5% in a blue tube only on Amazon. It helps a lot for at least an hour or so you get a break.
