Hi @jmendoza1, There is an older discussion where the member did not return after posting a similar question but the response given by one of the moderators has a reference link that might provide you with more information - Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK): Questions about this eye surgery: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/prk/.

I did find some information on the recovery time here:
"While most patients see very well within a month after the procedure, complete healing can take 3 months."
--- PRK Recovery Time: What to Expect: https://americanrefractivesurgerycouncil.org/prk-recovery-time-what-to-expect/.

Did the doctor give any eye drops to help the healing process?

Just an update in case anyone has a similar issue.

I have 20/20 vision. My eyes took a while to heal and gotten really dry. I was on various eye drops after the procedure, but as things improved and then regressed I was put on FML eye drops. I also started taking omega 3 tablets, less alcohol, drink more fluids and wore one of those eye heat packs in the evening. It took about 2/3 weeks to get to 20/20 after that.

Very happy with the outcome. I was worried it was over corrected, but the eye specialist was confident whole way.

Life changing procedure!!!
