My 50-year struggle with Grover’s was finally put under control with UV photo therapy a few years back, but I’m always interested in new ways to fight this plague, should it flare again.

Do you “soak” the garlic clove in the honey before eating it? I've eaten raw garlic, but certainly never made it a daily habit. I too, have stomach/digestive issues as I have aged, and I'd give the garlic/honey regimen a try.

BTW, a pre-med student recommended aloe vera gels to treat stomach issues. I'm trying this now, but so far it’s not effective.

Hi~ After I chop the garlic, I let it sit on the plate for 10-15 minutes. Then I put it on the spoon and drizzle the honey on it and just coat the garlic by mixing it with the honey using the tip of the knife to stir it around. Then I eat it. I don't let it soak or marinate in the honey.

I'd love to hear if your try it and whether it works for you. Good luck!
