Second PET scan after treatment.

My husband finished treatment for HPV+ SCC base of tongue and left tonsil in Dec 2022. He had a PET scan early April which still showed activity, so they repeated the scan end of June. We got the results today. NED - he is today… Cancer Free!

One step in front of the other is all you can do. It has not been easy, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. My wish is for all to receive good news after enduring such difficult treatment.

Congratulations on the great news, I to got the results of my 2nd pet scan yesterday. I'm also cancer free from right tonsil SCC. God is great!!
