Compounded Ketamine nasal spray for pain and anxiety
Does anyone have experience using Compounded Ketamine nasal spray for pain and anxiety? The effect doesn't last long and seems to be less effective. 4 puffs a day.

I have continued taking Zoloft with the Ketamine. I still am at this time. At one point I forgot 2 days/ doses in a row last May and I fell deep back into depression and became very suicidal. Only because I had no energy to get up off the couch I did not proceed with killing myself. Once the level of Sertraline/ Zoloft was back to usual my depression abated once again. I hoped to get off Antidepressants. That does not appear to be a possibility for me.
Is Ketamine covered by MediCare? I am now 64 and had terrible abusive and neglectful parents. Siblings could care less and have no kids. I can relate to you Jo. The best medicine for me is laughter and touch. My room mate husband refuses to have intimacy of any kind. Too sick with UC to go thru a divorce. God is my only true friend. I still pray for the touch I need! Maria.
Didn't work for me
Hi! I hear you and I am here for you. I get ketamine oral tabs I take at home for $399. Insurance nor Medicare pays. It takes 1/3 of my Disability monthly to pay for it, but I am alive. Contact me if I can be of help. The only reason I got on here is to share that I had a profound Positive reaction to taking Ket. It helps PTSD more than “regular “ depression. Sounds like we have much in common. Peace, Jo
I also have oral ketamine, and I take it occasionally when I feel depression beginning to stifle joy. I may not notice at first, and by the time I do, I can't wait to see a therapist ot try a new antidepressant. Ketamine (I have 100 mg tabs) is strong, but when I'm desperate, it's a godsend. Good luck to you in your search for that sunny side of life.
I had no idea there were ketamine tablets. Wonderful. Now to find someone who will prescribe it!
That is wonderful. I's like to find someone wo would prescribe it.
