Who do you recommend for CPAP supplies?
I just dropped a very large sleep health supply provider for very poor customer service and the inability to follow through with their commitments. One of the Mayo Docs referees to this company as being “the best of the worst”
My intention is not to bash this business but to find out who you would recommend for cpap supplies? Looking for positive experiences only… any suggestions you can make will be most gratefully appreciated!!

I really liked the support and help I received at the Mayo Clinic Sleep Store in Rochester and I purchased my first Medicare eligible CPAP machine through the Mayo Clinic Store. Then I switched to Corner Home Medical Store in Rochester specifically because the Mayo Clinic Sleep Store is inconveniently located for me and the local store has parking directly in front of the store. I also had a really good sleep medicine therapist at the local business who helped me through some CPAP mask issues. When it comes to purchasing CPAP equipment that's not covered by my insurance, I do my homework and rely on the Internet for the best price and free shipping. The one exception has been cloth masks that fit on the CPAP masks to make them more comfortable on your skin. I found one company on the west coast that is second to none with customer service and helped me with several different full face masks until I settled on one. They were actually recommended to me by my Mayo Clinic sleep medicine therapist at my 3 month follow up appointment -- https://cpapcomfortcover.com/
Surprised there is only one reply. I'd like to hear from more people on this topic. Anyone?
I use Medical Service Co. There # is 1800-824-1400 Your Dr. just faxes them the RX and they send them to you. All I have is Medicare only cost me about $60.00 every 3 months. That's for the hose, 3 masks, 6 filters, and water chamber but that's on your second purchase. Good luck, Also you can ask your Dr. if he recommends a certain supply Co.
I have used Lincare and they have ResMed devices and I have been very happy with them.
The CPAP Shop. thecpapshop.com They seem ok, bought a heated hose for my Resmed A-10 from them. Big 4th of July sale on now. Paid with card.
Medical Service Company has done a terrible job for me. They sent me the wrong supplies. I reached out to them, and they were supposed to send me the correct supplies, plus a return label for the incorrect ones. It’s been weeks, and nothing has been sent. It is impossible to reach a human being when I call. So far, I have left three messages with no response. I am definitely looking to find another supplier.
Wow susanh824 that's awful! Is this your 1st time ordering from them? I have used them for years and never had a problem. Every 3 months they call me or leave an e-mail. If you go to Medical service Co. online they have a contact for you can fill out. I hope they get back to you right away. Good luck!
I had a dreadful experience with Rotech Health, and had to drop them for zero customer service after about three months. I still don't have a CPAP. Do not use this company. So if anyone knows of a company with professional staff and excellent customer service, I'd be really grateful.
Hi @valeriejn, Welcome to Connect. I think COVID did a number on a lot of businesses and I'm sorry to hear you had such a terrible experience with your supplier. Do you have a local medical supply company that you can deal with for CPAP supplies or have you tried finding one close to where you live?
I have two somewhat local CPAP stores I use - one is Corner Medical (Red Wing, MN - 45 miles) the other is Adapt Health (Owatonna, MN - 20 miles). Both are good. Corner was convenient when I was in Red Wing every other week for chemotherapy, but now it's a very long drive.
Fitting a mask properly is one thing that a skilled local provider can do better than an online outlet.
