Foot neuropathy: What gives you relief?
It seems if I get enough activity/exercise daily I don’t have pain; if not, am awakened from sleep and must get up (even in the middle of the night). What’s going on & what more should I do to avoid rest-disruption?

I wear toeless compression hose for dress and compression socks with toes around the house. Both come to the knee. I don’t know anything about venous supply.
Have you been tested for Vitamin B-6 levels? This is very important since B-06 levels that are high are a contributor to neuropathy. If its too high and you are able to cut B-6 intake, you might be able to reverse it.
Curious as to how you can walk 4-5 miles daily with PN.
As I posted earlier, Tramadol caused hallucinations (frightening ones!) and seriously fractured nightmares. And the dose was way less than yours, thank goodness for that. I'm glad that it works for you, without the nasty side effects.👍🏼💤
Thanks for the info. When I was tested in the spring, it was within normal limits. What kinds of foods reduce B6?
If you're in the "normal limit" then you should not really worry about it since your body needs B-6. B-6 helps support nerves but too much can be toxic. Have you visited with a neurologist?
I use Medical Cannabis to sleep at night. You can get pills. take about an hour before bed. Works like a charm. If you wake up in the middle of night use a vaping pen. Sleep tight!
I have been doing it since 2015. I need to clarify it, I walk some in the morning, during the day and have about 3.5 walk in the evening. I keep my diet, but I also take gabapentin. I take 200 mg in the morning and 400 for night, at least 30 minutes before I go to bed. It is my routine. Somehow it works for me, but I would love to give gabapentin for good. I am not sure what else I can say. Perhaps I mentaly adjusted to tolerate some discomforts related to neuropathy.
I think diet also helps me to keep my pain under control. If I go out of balance my symptomes exaggerate. Sugar, drink and stake are my enemies, I feel it every time I break my descipline, and this tought me little bit to make better choices.
I hope you find a way to manage your pain.
