How long does it take a kidney transplant recipiant to recooperate?

Y had both a liver and kidney transplant in Oct. 2012. I am doing very
well. How about you?

I received liver and kidney in April 2009. Organs functioned immediately. No more dialysis after transplant.
After months of inactivity, I needed to slowly regain my strength and stamina by exercise, mostly walking. I was able to do some hiking in Great Smoky Mts in October.
I continue to do well. Getting ready to celebrate 7 years.
