I'd like to know why some foods are odd numbers..always.
Dozen eggs, 10 hot dogs but most hot dog buns are 8 to a pkg..donuts are 6 or 12. Yet chicken thighs are 5 to a pkg as is my Italian sausage.

How numerically odd

A baker's dozen is 13. Now that's really odd.
