Every day I cough up what looks like a scab with ugly mucous and blood

Every day I cough up what looks like a scab with ugly mucous and tiny amounts of blood. It seems to come from the back of my throat or nose. My doctor has seen the scab but does not see anything wrong. This, to me, seems really odd. Has anyone had this problem?

I had staph some years back which I treated in a local way with mixed herbs and roots, since then it seem to be ok, but recently about two months now I began to witness some rashes and boil on my private part and my lap, Base on what I have heard so far about staph, I know it's staph cos at a time my sperm became watery and I could barely have sex second time. Pls what I need now is how I can take care of this ugly situation.

I can't reach him on phone now but I sent him a mail concerning this issue, but right now am offshore, when I return by next week I will go meet him as to see how I can end up this. But concern is that whether it won't affect my fertility?

Hi @needtoknow, I wonder if you still have your problem. I have exactly the same symptoms as you for 2 years now. 2 ENT’s told me it was a staph. Infection, and that nothing could be done. 2 weeka ago i visited a third ENT and after he gave me a CTScan i am up for an MRI next week, for he believes i have a Thornwald cyste ( crust type) The mucus, and every other day a green yellow scab with a red centre.i I developed it after a soar throat. Hope you will reply, for your post is from 2016.

I cough phlegm every morning and sometimes throughout the day. I've gone to several ENT's and I take omeprazole 40 mg for years. I think it is something else maybe in sinuses but these doctors should be aware of that? Any ideas.

May be caused by silent reflux as well as sinus drainage, or allergies you are unaware of, anything from dust, pollen, foods..

I see this post is from 2 years ago but I have the exact same thing as the original post. Not every day but quite frequently I cough up a mucus-covered "scab". The ENT that I saw said I had reflux and put me on medication but it did not help and that medication has such bad side effects such as pulling calcium from your teeth and bones. I have tried probiotics and digestive enzymes. Thought they were working but no. Have cut down on coffee, no soda, and drink lots of water, but still it comes. Did you ever get a diagnosis or solution? Please share.
