Posted by Sundance(RB) @sundance6, Jan 25, 2019

Was doing some research on Symptoms of Lyme Disease the other night and ran into similar symptoms of Mold Toxcity. Does anyone know anything about it?
Thanks,
Sundance

Look up Dr Shoemaker protocol for treating mold. Also Dr Neil Nathan book “Toxic”. Our son has mold and after months of detoxing Lyme has tested positive after many negative tests.

Tackling mold is very serious. I was exposed to mold in our home over a period of time. We didn’t smell it or see it as it was in the walls due to water leaks. There are many kinds of symptoms one can have if mold is affecting you too numerous to mention but here are a few: coughing, sneezing, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, lung issues.
You need to be tested and your home needs to be tested. Not all doctors know how to test and treat so ask lots of questions of your doctor.
And if you test positive, find a reputable company that knows how to find it in your home and remediate it.
There is an expert I consulted after I tested positive for 5 different molds. He was recommended by my doctor as I didn’t know what I didn’t know to get rid of it in my home. And I was scammed with the first person who came to my home to test for it.
The gentleman I highly recommend is Michael Schrantz, in Scottsdale, AZ. He will walk you through the specific steps to take and based on where you live, can recommend reliable companies.
If you’re interested, I can send his contact information. He’s a straight shooter and compassionate.
The tests I took were a breath test and a blood test after testing showed it was present in our home.
Best to you.

Hi! Thanks for sharing this, not many people talk about it. So i currently rent a mobile home. I've been here 5 years. The previous tenant i knew her, we grew up together in school years ago. I ran into her about a year ago at the store and she said i see your staying in the same place i rented . She said did they ever replace the walls I'm the middle bedroom that's right beside the bathroom. I said not to my knowledge she said that there was a very bad water leak in the bathroom and that she had encountered the floor soaked in the bedroom and she knew it was in the wall by looking at the bathroom wall. And pipes had busted as well In the kitchen under the sink. So i went home not thinking about it and just happen to notice that the bathroom had like a hard plastic nailed to the wall in the bathroom i always thought it was paneling or the wall . Also i have been noticing for a long time a very ugly smell under the sink. It's wood under there so i thought because the home is from 1975 being old maybe it was that. I'm very very curious if you would please go into detail how you started noticing symptoms In yourself and your home. And how long did you notice them. I've never heard anyone talk about this . Ive been very sick and my health has went down hill over the past 3 years. To where i really dont leave my home anymore. I would so appreciate it. Thank you!!

We discovered a leak in our walls that required mold remediation. It had probably been goin on several years. Walls and flooring had to be torn out and the room was treated. I did not know about testing for mold toxicity at that time. This happened in the late summer and fall of 2022. Is it too late to have myself tested for mold toxicity ?

Happy to answer you with my experience. I had been dealing with digestive issues and my doctor was treating me for that as well as fatigue as I have Hashimoto’s. I was feeling better and better. Then my symptoms returned. I had been following my doctors plan carefully, so she suspected I may have exposure to mold. But there are numerous symptoms to mold toxicity- runny nose, coughing, itchy eyes or skin, brain fog, lung infections, shortness of breath, dry skin.
My doctor asked me if we had had water leaks in our home and we had 3 known leaks and one unknown we were not aware of. We did not notice any smells or see any mold anywhere. So I was tested but she also said we needed to have our home tested. Otherwise treatment would not be successful because I would continue to be exposed to mold spores.
What you smell under the sink is highly likely mold.
If I were you, I’d find someplace else to live if possible. Since you are renting, the owner may not be agreeable to doing anything to have the trailer tested and then have the trailer cleaned up. It can be expensive depending on how much of the trailer has mold growing in it.
And I recommend you get tested for mold toxicity and for other reasons that may be causing your symptoms that have increased over the 3 years.
I hope this info helps. Take care.

I bought a home last February and immediately thought I had covid. Since moving in I’ve had chronic sinusitis which I’ve never had before and all the symptoms of mold toxicity. Sent out a swab test and came back at over a million spores per unit. I have a lawsuit for developer to take back house but my health is seriously deteriorating. 3 emergency room visits. We can see the mold coming through the wall and the ducts are full of mold after one cleaning already.
My question is where can I go to v prove that I have mold toxicity. No doctor seems to v know where to send me. There are urine tests in the Internet for like $600 but I honestly can’t afford that. I also have Medicaid. I am at a complete loss of who to go to and I can’t breathe it function here. Just went to Allergist who is referring to pulmonologist but that’s treating the symptoms. I’m highly allergic to mold and know how my body reacts. Please help.

roxfirez, I am so so sorry. You definitely need to get out of this house or have it completely cleaned of mold if you are going to stay.

I have two friends with mold toxicity....they both have Lyme Disease. An Integrative Medicine doctor (Eastern Medicine Doctor) is the one that can do all of the tests for you.....its' expensive. That is the route they took.

I researched and did find that some Pulmonologists do the testing of your lungs and bloodwork for mold. Infectious Disease Doctors or Allergists also may be able to help you.
I hope you have someone to help you to do the research on this.

"Google Mold Toxicity Tests or Doctors near me" and see what comes up. Some doctors will let you make installments.

Praying for you. This is very serious to your health.

Please think about contacting the State Department of Health in your state for assistance. They can help with the environmental toxicity issue and probably give you a list of health care providers.

So sorry you are going through this. ask your lawyer. DIY tests
likely will not suffice for litigation purposes.

Thank you…. I finally am getting in with a pulmonologist and getting a breathing test through them. I’ve looked into infectious disease but I have Medicaid so hard to get in anywhere. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer💚 this definitely helped
