What’s next?

Posted by mitfit @mitfit, Jun 6, 2023

At this point in life we all think about “what’s next” after we leave our physical bodies. I would be interested in what this group thinks. Where did we come from and where are we going?

@mitfit I don't know where I am going. Except, I plan to be able to donate as much of my physical body to those in need, and to research, as possible. For me, it is an honor to be able to think of this, and to do it.

As far as where I came from, that is the miracle of human existence. "You came from the stars" is what my dad would tell me as a child. Who am I to disbelieve that, even now? Where I am going beyond my physical existence? On to my next great adventure.

Just my thought this morning, your mileage may vary.

I believe YOU will be back again I truly BELIEVE in reincarnation I believe that YOU write your OWN story and every story is different and you can even figure out how many lives you lived by going online and looking up how to calculate how many lives you lived so that's even out there I've been here FOUR lives my boyfriend's been here FIVE so try it, it's interesting to read about reincarnation too supposedly there were books in the BIBLE that were taken out in regards to it as well👍🏻👍🏻

I don't think you come back as the same person though that would be interesting I kind of WISH I would I'm not too keen on trying to be somebody else but just a better version of myself would be NICE hehehe
😂🥴😘
Anyways a lot better version I should say because I'm dealing with so much pain chronic pain mental health physical health that triggers one and the other NEVER had MENTAL health issues like this in my LIFE till now I don't understand it I went through Breast Cancer in 2016 and I went through that a lot easier than having this horrible OCD that I have in my LIFE and the autoimmune diseases are getting harder and worse on my body I NEED to get my hips replaced it's taking a toll on my LIFE everything really does now it seems for me from food environmental people family the WORLD so many stressors from every direction
😵‍💫🥺😥
I know one thing I would truly NEVER give up and that's my childhood of when I grew up compared to now I was born in 1968 so I don't think I'd ever give that up and then I look at like my boyfriend's Dad who was 94 this year when he passed and to be quite honest I wish I was 94 right now coming to the end of my LIFE because I'm not too keen on what's going on in the WORLD today
😥🌍😥
And I BELIEVE in a higher POWER I do believe in God I believe in Jesus I believe in ALL religions really cuz they're all kind of the same when it comes to the END and what their message stands for minus a few different things but I EMBRACE most religions I want to BELIEVE there's something there we were CREATED and the ANIMALS and the WORLD was created to UNIQUE and SPECIAL to not be we are definitely part of a bigger PICTURE but we do NEED each other and I wish people would understand that we really do we need to be better to each other and talk to one another when we see each other instead of looking at a phone and looking away we're slowly killing each other by doing this I believe 😥🌈

Lovely Day - I resonate with so much of what you said. Like you, I believe in all religions and in the infinite oneness of all life. My mother always talked about “the next great adventure.” She is living it now and I wonder what it’s like. We will all soon know. So in the meantime we live every day, we help others, we express love. Wishing you well on your journey!

Ginger - Oh yes, like your Dad said, we came from the stars! I always think of our physical bodies leaving us, rather than us leaving our physical bodies. We continue in some form, in the next great adventure. Soon we will know.

I believe in Jesus And that he lived and died for the sins of the world. I believe when I die I will go to heaven and as I am 88 years old I am looking forward to the day I will meet my Saviorbface to face.

I'm 77 and a Christian. I believe we will go to Heaven and will finally meet God to whom we've been praying to all these years! We'll be able to thank him for our lives and all of the prayers he answered for us when we were here on Earth and for making this beautiful Earth for us to live in! We will also be able to thank him for giving his only begotten son, Jesus to live as man lives and died for us. I don't worry about the future. I just hope it comes soon since this world has become so bad lately! I try and live the way God wanted us to live as it states in the Bible; following the ten commandments. Jesus also laid out the way we should live in the New Testament. As long as we follow all that, the next step should be great!

Agree, triune God, the Father, God the Son, and God the Sprirt, three in one. Our true God.
I confess this daily. Knowing all the good comes from God. All the bad comes from me. Praise God for His saving Grace!
Amen.

Physically, we really did come from the stars. You're dad was right, Ginger. All matter is the result of an exploding star. But, strange as it may seem, what we see as reality is only a temporary illusion. True reality is life in the Spitit. For some reason, we are required to experience a sucession of lives in this physical plane before finally being able to not return again. Our problem is, humans have evolved a consciousness that that creates the ego-an illusion of individual lives in these temporary bodies. True life in the Spirit is one of pure love and light. That is what we return to by the saving grace of physical death. No wonder so many who have near-death experiences report not wanting to be pulled back into their physical bodies through CPR. They have seen and experienced a moment of pure truth and joy. That is what we will return to.
