@elizm Thanks for the suggestion f the Topricin Fibro cream. I ordered it from Walmart online after taking a bad fall on a walk/hike a couple of days ago. Due to the AIs, my joints are stiff and painful and I think that's why my ankle went out on me. I was able to finish getting around the lake but have been in a lot of pain due to scraping up right arm, left leg, sprained the left wrist and pulled the left shoulder. Got the Topricin today and put it on my wrist and shoulder...most of the pain in my wrist is gone and my shoulder is feeling better. I'm going to put some on my hands before bed to see if that will help them as well. Thanks for letting us know about this product!

Guntherbear- get a cortisone shot in your thumb joint. It will eliminate the pain for 6 months to a year

I was wondering if that would help. Thank you for replying. I will talk to my doctor about getting it. 6 months to a year sounds great !

I have arthritis in my knees - they tried a cortisone shot. It did not work for me - wore off after 5 weeks. It was supposed to last 6 months. Now it's hard to tell if it's arthritis or the anastrozole! Probably both. 🙁 Good luck.

kathy - have you tried gel shots for your knees. They work better than cortisone

I have also tried CBD Oil - pretty much the same result, that is nothing. I see the oncologist on 7/31. I am going to ask her about Tumeric, as some people said that helped them. Also going to ask her about taking a "med vacation". I started taking this in November 2018. Some side effects got a lot better. Insomnia, and dry eyes are no so much of a problem these days. Most annoying side effect now is my hands aching all the time. I take Meloxicam, and Tylenol and they only help slightly,

I'm looking in to that now - my insurance will only pay for a certain kind of shot - I need to find out the name of it. THANKS!

Tumeric did not do anything for me. Changing to Tomoxifen did reduce the joint pain.

Let me know when you find out the name of the shot medicene.
