Sensitive skin eye cream face cream

Posted by lovelyday @lovelyday, Jun 4, 2023

I have sensitive skin and my eyes are a can be trouble with them burning upon using certain products they can get puffy with small bags underneath and I have a little white bump near the end of my one eye it's not horrible but I don't like it still they're called Milia and you can get them from using face creams and aging but at the same time I don't like having dry skin especially after using a facial cleanser which can be drying

So I'm looking for a good MAKEUP REMOVER that won't burn the eye area when using it and a FACE CREAM and or SERUM that has no fragrance and won't cause Milia gentle on the skin but it works at keeping it hydrated..🌈

I wash my face with a wash cloth and warm water once a day and only put soap on it once or twice a week because it's too drying. I do use a moisturizer throughout the day and at night vaseline and so far no problems...good luck !

PS for make-up remover I use a drop of Lubriderm on a tissue.

I use Cetaphil Face Wash and Regenerist with Vitamin C and I have rosacea. None of these cause any problems with my skin.

Try a cleaner from Origins? They are pricey but worth it.

I have rosacea too hate it very sensitive to heat and products especially they can trigger a flare crazy how products can make the skin flare up and it's a cream with not much in it but it can still trigger it so hard to find the right stuff for my skin and the eye area is sensitive to burning and eye irritation ugh and Vaseline can clog pores and clog eye pores so I don't use it and it can trigger a flare up with my rosacea too 😵‍💫

I just wish they would come up with better stuff so much out there and so many really don't help 😔

Have you asked your dermatologist for suggestions? My dermatologist sells a small selection of specialized products and I assume it’s for situation just like yours.

@lovelyday I use a liquid castile soap to cleanse my face, with a homemade cotton washcloth that gets softer with use. Sometimes I skip that and just use witch hazel on a cotton round. For lotion, I use a generic collagen ointment, very lightweight, at night when I remember.

During the day I use a lightweight, for sensitive skin, SPF15 lotion. Oil of Olay makes a nice one, but the Walmart brand works just as well.

Hi Lovelyday!
I have sensitive skin and eyes also. I wash my face everyday with Basis soap which is for sensitive skin. I use Clinique Dramatically Different moisturizing lotion on my face everyday after my shower. I also use Clinique face makeup. Clinique is for very sensitive skin and they don't experiment on animals. They are available only through Macy's and Nordstrom's and are a little expensive. However, they have a lot of very good sales with many offers of free products such as lipsticks and creams with purchase. Plus once you are on the mailing list they send you coupons. For my eyes I just don't wear eye makeup. Plus I use an over the counter eye drops which help my sensitive eyes. Also a good home remedy for eyes is to place a slice of cucumber on each eye for about 2 minutes. It soothes your eye and helps with the stinging if there is any.
Good luck!

So many personal care products and makeup have toxic ingredients. I recommend using a free app called Yuka. You can scan barcodes on packaged food and personal items and it will show if healthily or not, and why. Quite an eye opener!

In some instances the app will recommend an alternative. I highly recommend. (See circled app below)

Best wishes,
Cindy
