Neuropathy symptoms are worse when I sit or lay down: Anyone else?
My problems are worse when I sit or lay down. I now work standing and limit sitting or laying watching tv. When I wake up my arms have fallen asleep. This started 3 months ago and the discomfort is all over but worse in my arms, legs and back. I have had all the tests but no one can find anything. I also have a rash on my neck. It has been there for a week. Doesn’t itch. My dr prescribed 30mg Zymbalta. I take it prior to going to bed. Anyone have similar symptoms?

Me too. Pain is the worst in the morning. Once I force myself to "push through the pain" and get moving, I can usually ignore it. I also walk on the beach a couple of hours a day and I usually start to feel better (sometimes it's just miserable all day).
I have axonal sensory neuropathy, take gabapentin, horizant, some tylenol when needed but anti-inflammatories like aspirin exacerbated my asthma to a dangerous degree and prescription anti-inflammatories did as well.

Mine is worse then walking or moving around. My left leg is worse than my right. My left foot seems to hurt a lot more than my left foot. I think the reason my left foot is worse than my right is because I have 100% blood flow in my right and only 75% in my left leg. I take .75 of Amitriptyline, 600 mg of Gabapentin, 60 mg of cymbalta, 10 mg of prednisone, 0.5 of ropinirole, 400 mg of ibuprofen. Most of the time it does not work when I use it at bedtime, Sometimes when I walk around I get pain in my hips and thighs and my feet go numb sometimes.

Have you had an MRI done? I have degenerative discs in my lower lumbar spine. I think this is playing a big part on my nervous system. I had to shots in my back & P/T. The more I move the more pain I have. I can't even wiggle my toes without it starting up all the nerves in my body! I do exercise every other day. It does seem to help.
I know it's tough living like this, but what choice do we have?????
Best of luck to you.
Yes, I have felt this way for some time. Worse when lying down. Do you have arthritis that is affecting your spine. I have stenosis of neck and back.
Yes I do have some arthritis. So I guess between the two that is why I'm in so much pain.
yes. I can't sleep while standing or sitting so I end up sometimes 3 days in a row without sleeping. Recently they found more fractures in both feet.
Sounds like a pinched nerve. I had that and did 4 months of PT and as long as I do my exercises it stays away. The more I am not active the worse it gets.
If your state has Medical Cannabis use it right before bed. Vape or edibles. It works!
Have you looked into peripheral polyneuropathy caused by vasculitis?
