What an awful thing to happen during that operation. What are the odds of calcium going in there. Whatever I had in mine stopped just in time also before going to my brain. That’s why they sent me to the hospital. But it went down on its own. My son had a pig valve replacement for his aortic valve back in the early nineties.
How long has it been since you lost your sight in that eye. They say it can take several months. Mine happened on April 16th and it went from black to shards of light in a week then grey clouds on the top and bottom with limited central vision. Now the clouds are gone but very weird distorted vision. The eye strain is awful. Hoping for a slim chance of it getting better. Been a month and a half since this happened. Aware of it everyday as I am sure you are. In this day and age I would think there would something they could do.
Thank you so much for responding back and please let me know how you are doing with your sight and your valve replacement.
