Ozempic "leftovers"
Ozempic works! Lost 40 pounds. Now have 15 pounds of floppy skin between shoulder and waist. At 65 the elasticity apparently is gone. Short of elective surgery, how can this leftover residue be elimated.

Hi, you can do toning exercises to help elasticity of your muscles. It worked for me!. I am 65 too!
Congrats on the weight loss!

HI Pat,
Could you please help us with as to what kind of exercises one needs to do.
Thanks
Ozempic does not work for everyone. I was on it for 1 year and watched my weight go up. After that my doctor fired me as a patient since he did not want his Ozempic statistics to flounder. Shortly thereafter he became a consultant to Novo Nordisk, its manufacturer out of Denmark. This is how this amazing medication makes it to market and stays there in varying doses.
The new and improved Ozempic is called Wegovy. Bottom line: IF you are not a diabetic, why take these meds anyway? I lost 110 lbs during Covid simply by stopping flour & sugar. These are the main ‘white’ killers along with salt. If you are worried about hanging skin, try living with it would be my opinion. I am 65 and happy to live without the added pain of a multitude of illnesses since I now weigh 130. Gratefully Marianne
Congratulations on losing 100 pounds!
I could find no qualified research anywhere that would support the conclusion that Ozempic causes weight GAIN. Patients who stop taking it report gaining back weight they had lost.
Wegovy is not "new and improved' Ozempic. It is the exact same drug, only prescribed in higher doses.
I am grateful to Novo for its products. I probably would not be here today without them.
Been working out five times a week since Jan. 1. Weights. Cardio. Toning. Dumbells. Barbells. You name it. Not much to show for it.
Roughly 50 percent body mass reduction only be diet changes is illogical and statistically improbable. If you had started out at 400 pounds, losing 100 on diet modification alone would be more plausible.
Try water aerobics! Great cardio, toning, aerobics exercise! Good Luck! Pat
Hah! My wife is a water aerobics instructor and lifeguard! Not really my cup of tea.
Well I am not one to make up stories that are hurtful to me and others. This is a crowdsourcing platform. I have a friend on Wegovy right now who is watching her weight go up as well. She is in California and works in a hospital so she gets it for free. She has no incentive to make up stories either…Glad Novo Nordisk serves you well. My best, Marianne
