Anyone tried CBD oil or medical marijuana for PMR?
I had such a bad day yesterday that I sent a note to my doctor about upping my prednisone (currently on 6 mg). Then I wondered, has anyone tried CBD oil or medical marijuana for PMR….

good to know it was suggested to me BUT wasnt sure diagnosed 2 months ago and Dr, already wants to wean me off prednisone??? having trouble getting out of bed in morning and many tks for the reply
I having been using medical marijuana for pain - I use a full spectrum thc oil for daytime and then smoke/vape flower before bed / I get immediate relief when I smoke/vape
Didn’t work for me.
The 50mg of full-spectrum CBD that I take each day is great for my mood and sleep, but too feeble to be a major player with my PMR. I'm sure it helps some, though, and works well with LDN to brighten the day.
I have coffee once a week with a group of senior men. Two of them had tried CBD oil and reported that it offered no relief whatsoever. Ditto for ointments featuring diclofenac.
many tks for the replies....wasnt sure on the CBD oil some had suggested to me...so again tks for the reply

Scooter - do you live in a state with medical marijuana? I tried CBD with little effect - but found you need the thc to help open the receptors - I use an oil with high Thc in the daytime with good results

I crash about 7pm with PMR‼️
I take 5mg of legal THC and
5 to 10mg of health-food store
CBDS. Plus an ice pack across
the back of my neck.
Pain subsides within 30 minutes and a deep, deep sleep ensues and returns quickly after urinating.
Daytime Tylenol works.
No notable remission in
6 years since diagnosis 😪
I have tried Cbd lotion at night. Cannot say definitely if effective
Ive found that marijuana (oral) gives me substantial relief from tightness and stiffness. I suddenly feel fluid and effortless in my movements. I take that opportunity to do some serious stretching and take an extended walk that's natural and pleasurable, enjoying whats around me rather than worrying about every step.
