Looking for a pulmonologist & ID recommendation in Tampa, Florida
I am relocating to Tampa, Florida at the end of June. Does anyone have a recommendation for both a pulmonologist and ID doctor who understand our disease?
Thanks in advance.

I went to Coastal in St. Pete. They were OK.
Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville is considered to be one of the best in the country. I live in Spring Hill FL and it is a bit over a 3 hour drive for me. I go once yearly at this point, they are are just fabulous. They have a hotel on the campus there, very convenient if they are doing a work up on you. I have done research on doctors at USF (at Tampa General Hospital) and Dr Chakrapol Sriaroon, MD looks like he might be a good option. https://find-a-doctor.health.usf.edu/provider/Chakrapol+Sriaroon/725961?clinical_experience=bronchiectasis&display_location=Spring%20Hill%2C%20FL%2034606%2C%20USA&distance=50&filter=age_groups_seen.name%3AAdults&filter=accepting_new_patients%3AT&filter=specialties.specialty.untouched%3APulmonology&location=28.4831682%2C-82.5369872&sort=relevance&from=search-list#provider-details-about Good luck to you, Bill
Thank you so much. I will look into Dr. Sriaroon at USF.
I live in Tampa and see Dr Chakrapol Sriaroon. He is both a pulmonologist and infectious disease doctor. He did some of his training at NJH. I’ve only seen him twice but am impressed. His office is on Davis Islands near Tampa General Hospital. My only warning to you is that it is challenging to deal with the scheduling department at USF (he is USF faculty) so be persistent.
I have also heard Dr Chakrapol Sriaroon, MD is an excellent doctor.

Do you mind sharing who you see at Mayo, Jax? I see Dr. Margaret Johnson.
Do you mind if I ask you some questions about your experience?
I just googled him. He is originally from Thailand, same university that I went. Awesome! he accepts telehealth too.
