How common is permanent remission?
Has there been research done to explore the likelihood of permanent remission? The percentage of people with PMR who have a one time occurrence of PMR?

Bummer. Getting old sucks! Just one damn thing after another, isn't it?
Yessiree Bob, getting old can be the pits, especially if you forget and don't buy the pitted prunes 🙃
Thank you for your response. Can you please elaborate on the lifestyle, diet, and exercise you felt helpful?
I fully understand the Social Media side of f/b though. Some good and some
bad!
Prior to my first PMR flareup I was pretty sedentary and didn't actively exercise but did occasionally play golf and do some limited walking. My weight was always an issue and I struggled with it. The prednisone helped me put on another 25 or so pounds and I was already overweight.
The second time my PMR flared up six years after it went into remission I started eating healthier - no more fast foods, eliminating most of the sugar and added daily exercise to my normal routine. My daily exercise consists of 30 to 45 minutes on an exercise bike along with some stretching and exercises with light weights, nothing to strenuous.

l just looked up the pmr forum on facebook, and it averages only 1 post a year, and the most recent post was in 2021. No point, in my opinion, to join. Maybe there is another one l haven't discovered yet?
You must be on the wrong one as there are posts and many all day long. You have to request to join these groups. Try joining HealthUnlock....a very good forum.
thank you, l will hunt it down.
