No appetite for months, suddenly now I am famished

I lost 32 pounds since fall of 2022.
No appetite....idea of eating sometimes even made me nauseous. Then 2wks ago I totally reversed and am famished 24/7. Gaining weight rapidly. What is going on?

I came down with covid in 1/21. I was in the hospital for 9 days and cam home. I was still on oxygen . lived alone. To weak to do much of anything but lay down. Covid hit my heart, lungs gi tract. Too sick to even think about brain fog. Took me about 25 minutes to cook a microwave meal. I told the doctors several times that I never felt hungry like I used too. They just blew me off. It was not until about 11/22 that I would actually feel hungry. I lost 67lbs. not enough room to tell the whole story of my fight. My medical chart from 1/21 till 10/22 if 750 pages.

I don't know what to say about the anxiety. I had it also. But It does help to talk . with others. You are not alone.

I've lost 145 to 135 since I developed Long Covid. It's so easy for me to say no to food. Things taste ok but I'm just not too interested. I'm so grateful that my husband does the cooking because I don't have the interest to cook anything (and he's a good cook). I get full on small portions.

The same thing happened to me lost 27 lbs then all of a sudden it reversed ,long covid attacks are organs and I researched if it attacks are thyroid, and of course it does, covid attacks are brains it attacks are eyes, are heart ,I would blame what is going on with your weight on your thyroid because a hyper thyroid you lose weight, a hypo thyroid you gain weight, just last week my eyes were bothering me double vision blurry vision ,felt like grit in my eyes so I went to eye doctor he tested my eyes I had acult hypertension in both eyes ,which is also glaucoma so I'm freaking out now, I went to a different eye doctor 1 week later and the problem with my eyes was not there anymore,so it seems to me post covid jumps around from one organ to the next my doctor sees what is going on now I do have a diagnosis of covid long hauler now, this disease is painful I don't know how long are organs will last with this, is this inflammation or do we all have a autoimmune disease now we're going to have to figure this out for our selves we all seem to have the same symptoms and it all has to do with are organs, with all my problems I really have never had a fever.

I also lost 30 lbs due to distorted sense of smell and severe loss of appetite. Recently ravenous appetite and weight gain .
