What is a crust that sticks to the inside of the septum of the nose...
biopsied years ago as "negative" seems to resurface in Winter....I know I should not keep removing it.

Ahh that’s for a staph infection isn’t it? I had mine swabbed and no infection or bacteria etc was found so not sure would work for me
No, katiemac85....no infection.....its caused by dryness.....please have your Dr prescribe it for you...it works....just dab a little inside your nostrils.
I tried Bactroban which I believe is the same ointment. And no luck sadly x
So strange as Google says mupirocin is to treat staph infection and is antibiotic
katiemac85, I can only tell you that absolutely NOTHING has worked to remove the crustiness/scab like material over the past 7 years until the mupirocin 2%.....and the Dr.said she loves to prescribe this for the condition.
Thank you will try it. Did you also remove your scab a lot and maybe that caused the damage ? X
EXACTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bleeding, etc.
