@colleenyoung my COVID virus tests’ are negative. I wanted to give an update on the condition of my skin after being affected by COVID. The skin on my hands have returned to its “normal” color and condition, no peeling.
The bottoms of my feet and areas between the toes are still peeling. It seems like shedding would better describe it. The skin is shiny like plastic.
I’m wondering if anyone else has this condition.
The cough has diminished.
But insomnia has developed.
It is reassuring to be in this group. It seems no question is big or to small.
I wonder if anyone else has developed these conditions.

One step at a time? That is good news about your hands. Perhaps the improvements to your feet will follow a similar course. Did the peeling begin on your hands first?
Oh dear about the insomnia. This is a common symptom that others have written about too. See this related discussion:

Thank you Colleen for getting back to me.
Regarding the Post-COVID
skin condition it started on my hands. The skin peeling was between my fingers and then the palms of both hand.
My feet are started peeling within days of my hands. There is no pattern to the skin shedding on my feet, but it clears up and then another area is affected.

I happen to come across your post and it has honestly been so comforting because I am experiencing the same peeling on my hands and feet. The blisters started in the webbing between my thumb and index finger too. My feet are not as bad but the new skin is so red and sensitive to temperature. My doctor is at a loss and doesn’t really seem to be sure what is going on. May I ask if anything actually helped this peeling condition because it is definitely getting to feel uncomfortable and I’m worried it won’t go away. I’m trying to see a dermatologist to get an opinion that is more specified.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Well these are fairly old posts so I would be interested to know if these symptoms are persisting? My husband's palms are peeling severely and they are becoming more sensitive. He also has red hardish blisters on his shoulders, upper back and arms that don't seem to burst as much as fall in. This all started after COVID in February.
When I had covid back in 2020 I developed blisters in the palm of my hand, just 1 hand. Ever since I get the blisters at least once a month. They stay about 7 days then my skin peels and it cracks really bad. Anyone else have this?
