Music Helps Me

Posted by Parus @parus, Oct 13, 2017

At times music can be helpful. I like the group Anthem Lights...A new discovery for me when I was perusing youtube. A Capella has always been my thing. I love to sing!!!!!

This is a sad passing as he’s also one of my favorites. I’ve been listening to his music this morning. Thank you for sharing.

It broke my heart when I found out. A poet has passed. His melody, his words, his music shall endure.

If you get Prime Video and if you are interested,
there is an excellent documentary about his music and his life.

It's entitled: Gordon Lightfoot: If you could read my mind.

It was made during his lifetime.
I watched it twice recently while he was still physically with us.

I find it very relaxing to listen to classical music. It can be the next best thing to the sound of silence. On my iPhone, I found a YouTube of over 3 hours of classical music pieces by the masters. It begins with Bach's Moonlight Sonata, which sets a perfectly calm mood. That's usually all I need, although sometimes I listen to the next three or four. It works very well for early morning.
