What foods or supplements help increase Low platelets?

Thanks for the information. My son has a platelet count of five. He's getting transfusions every other day. His bone marrow biopsy revealed that he has a plastic anemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. I wish you well on your journey.

Thanks for the hug. It sounds like we're in the same boat because my son has platelet count of five as well and transfusions every other day. This is been going on for 3 weeks now. He is also battling a series of migraine headaches which don't seem to respond to any of the medications that they have tried. They have not yet tried the platelet booster medication. I am currently battling my own health issues and can't be with my son every day as I would wish. I am praying for a miracle.
