What helps improve osteoporosis without medication?
Hello, did anyone here try to heal from osteoporosis away from all the prescribed medications we all know of? Did you try following a specific diet? Excercise? Meditation, etc. ? Thank you

Thank you for sharing this. I’m curious about why my dentist approved it for me, and again, I didn’t understand the seriousness of the risks…
@cpd54 and @srose not all osteoporosis drugs pose dental concerns, but some dentists, in my experience, don't know that.
Prolia, bisphosphonates and to a lesser extent Evenity pose dental risks but Forteo and Tymlos do not.
Thanks! I will look into this!
If I may ask, how much of the strontium citrate do you take daily? TIA
OMG, I too have Sjogren's and osteoporosis. Aside from the dental issues with osteo drugs, I'm concerned about side effects triggering more Sjogren's symptoms.
@naomid Forteo and Tymlos do not have dental issues. I have lupus and another autoimmune condition and Tymlos did not trigger any symptoms. Just one person though!
Thanks, windyshores. Unfortunately I learned that I can't take Forteo because I had radiation for breast cancer and it reached the spine. At this point I'm thinking of getting a Marodyne Low Intensity Vibration platform, adding in daily collagen, increasing my daily exercise and giving it one more year without meds. I know it's risky, but meds are too.
I bought a Marodyne LIV device too. Still waiting for delivery. I’m scheduled to have a repeat Dexa scan in November 2023. Hopefully the result will show some improvement.
Wow, good luck! And I can't wait to hear if you get the results we're all hoping for. There is a study out of New Zealand indicating that the device either stops bone loss or contributes to bone growth in the lumbar spine and femur. I need to go back to the study and see how long it took to Garner those results. If I can find the link I will post it here
Two studies to show the effectiveness of Marodyne LIV. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8441532/ versus control group.
