Anyone experiencing dry eyes and vision changes?
Since October 2020, I have had progression in my eyes being dry and when I look at words, part of the letters are missing. I had a mri of my head and I saw my eye doctor for my annual exam. He says it’s dry eyes making the words not appear full. It’s very bothersome.

Since covid 3yrs ago I have extremely dry eyes ,ears, nose throat, skin, hair and nails. The latest: eyelid lubrication oil tubes have dried and clogged up.
Opthamologist has me using microwaved gel eye mask2xday. Massage with fingertips. Eriththromyacin eyegel@ bedtime. 4wks now, I have red/purple swollen lumpy lids. Are others having eye issues?
Yes! It started with getting styes and a chalazion( which I still have for well over a year). Opthomologist said it was probably from wearing the masks. Well I found that odd that I wore a mask for an entire year and never had any issues until after I had Covid. Now my eyes are sticky in the morning and sore to the touch underneath. They always look red underneath and they hurt at times. The left one got all red the other day, but it cleared up. I still have white dots inside of my eyelid. I had Covid at the end of 2020 and the weird flare ups continue.
I have suffered from dry eye and inflamed eyelids for twenty years or more. After having Covid last August, it re-emerged about December to make my dry eye even worse. Very sore and itchy eyelids and no it is below my eyes and a rash on my face. I went to the eye doctor last week and tried to explain that I have Long-Covid now and I have been trying everything. I also went to a determatologist. Both of these doctors treated me as if I am crazy. It seems no one wants to try to help me. My eyes and skin burn and itch and are raw and red.

Dry eyes & blurred vision was one of the first symptoms I had, went to opthalmologist & he said just use my eye drops 4-6 times a day. Doesn't make a difference. Still happens occasionally for a day or two.
No dry eye, but when my vision begins to blur I am supposed to rest asap. ( to avoid syncope)
I have been checked for Sjorgens three times and nothing turns up. My eyes nose and mouth are very dry. My vision is blurry. I was told I had cataracts, so I had that surgery. Colors are brighter, but vision is still blurry and left eye especially seems to be getting worse. Left ear is worse too. I think that is a weird and common thing for the left side to be worse for many people. I sure would like some answers! Going back for eye exam next week. I keep wondering if “microclotting”is keeping eyes, ears and sinuses from getting proper blood/oxygen supply. Does anyone know how that might be tested? Or had a doctor with an opinion on that possibility?
Yes..my eyes have been very dry..having to use dry eye drops regularly. Also nose peeling problems? And vision not as good as it should be.
You need to find a Dr that thinks outside the box! I finally did and it has made a world of difference!
Google ipl for dry eyes. It stinks insurance won’t cover it but it works. My eyes were perfect before Covid. They got blurry and super dry for the last two years. Also in my X-ray lots of inflammation. The eye dr finally said I should try ipl. You do 4 treatments. One a month for 4 months then just once a year to maintain it.
