Hello @smcdsbox and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. You will notice I have put your discussion in both the Eye Conditions and Infectious Diseases Support Groups so you have just one discussion to track.
I am so sorry to hear about your 2-year journey with eye pseudomonas. Do you have any idea what triggered this to begin with?
Would you consider doing something off-label? How about rinsing your eyes with a very mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Just a drop or two in a glass of water might not feel like anything, but could have a positive effect. I am just thinking aloud and not prescribing anything. If nothing has worked so far you may feel as if nothing ever will. Maybe something that hasn't been tried will, but you need to advocate creatively for yourself because it is not likely a medical professional will suggest alternative solutions. Bounce the idea off of your physicians. You might get negative feedback, but maybe one of them might give you a green light.
I've been doing a betadine solution similar to your suggestion. I will ask and see if this is an option. Anything is better than taking Levaquin... which is the next step.
Thank you
