Peach414144, I do care. I sure wish there was something that I could say or do that could help your condition.
My first thought is to ask you if you have someone who accompanies you to your appointment? It is good to have a second set of ears, and especially an extra voice to speak for you and with you about your diagnosis and treatment.
I also have a question for you. This is one that we struggled with concerning a family member. What kind of loss of vision care have your doctors offered to you? There are many assistive devices that can help to deal with loss of vision: lighting, magifycation devices, voiced news delivery, phones for visually impaired.....
Hugs to you.

Dear Rosemary, sorry to be so late in responding to your caring post. I do not know why, but the doctors in this area of Ocala, Florida have not recommended any type of vision help. I ask and they have no answers. I have been so very much in pain for the last two years with psoriatic arthritis (leg, from thigh to toes swollen, red, hot, and horribly painful that it is difficult to do much. And the fingers, ouch! Still working on the bunch of physical problems I have and will continue to persue with the stubbernes within me. Looking for someone to drive me to Mayo then will ask for an appointment. Have checked out the assisted living here and other places but with the experiences I have seen and had with this I will not go there..... Now this is a shame for the america that I much love.
