Being a good patient is the key to keeping my eye sight. I was told by my very first Retina Specialist who was a professor at a local college as well as his practice the key to keeping my eyesight was in my hands to be following his protocol. So from the very beginning I have faithfully used both eye drops every night as well as having the injections every four to six weeks. The injections have stopped the bleeding behind the retinas. Believe me I am blessed to have been referred to a knowledgeable doctor. Every day I thank the man above for my blessings!

@joan1234, I like your attitude! It is a real blessing when we do find a health care provider whom we can really trust. And the result is that we can adhere to the continued treatment plan.
I have a Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (BRVO) which is a vein that leaks and causes inflammation. I get injections on a variable schedule. I also use drops nightly. My doctors are pleased with my response to the injections. They keep a close watch on me. I appreciate that.
