@joan1234, Welcome to Mayo Connect:-) Thank you for sharing your positive message about your treatment. In my opinion, your words, "Blessed by my Ophthalmologist and Retina Specialist" are appropriate. I do not have macular degeneration, but do I receive similar "blessings" from my own ophthalmologist and retina specialists.

I want to send you congratulations on your longevity/adherence to your treatment. You sound like a good patient! I try to be one and the routine treatments are working for me.
