I have heart palpitations, skip beats, extra beats, chest pain, tightness. Lack of air. I also have csvd, the cardiologist I just talked to I on the phone for my appointment. Has never seen me only did a stress test. Says it's normal. Cabs is in your brain not your heart. I'm in Canada, it's a private clinic...any suggestions?

So sorry to you have a doctor that dose not listen to you a common problem now days first of all I would find me a new doctor/ you have enough going to up with him being so rude and get a second opinion and a third opinion see what another doctor has to say or thinks
Because no one knows your body as well as you do and you know when you don’t feel right op’s sick
I have the same problem and I have IVCD I was born with this condition and a few other heart problems but things are normal they tell me so my PCP put me on nitro pills incase I need them I had very high BP and some serious chest pain shortness of breath went to ER where the doctor gave me nitro and the chest pain went away they did all there tests and they were all normal so cardiologist is just monitoring my me
If I was not in cardiact issues why did they give me nitro in the ER the ER doctor said he believed they stored me from a heart attack no matter what those test said and I agree with him I was very scared they kept me over nigh and then let me go home so me I would get other options my friend hang in there ok let us know how your doing ok have a great evening ❤️🙏

Hi, thank you for answering my post. I find doctors here , health care is failing. Too many people to be in an old system. But the shortness , patience, lacking of was immense. I also see a psychiatrist, makes me think that's how I'm being treated after. Like it's I n my hesd.
Hi, thank you for answering my post. I'm very frustrated , I've waited since Oct. To see this cardiologist. She is very short ,I annoyed her by asking questions. But she wasn't bein g transparent with all my results.or answer I by my questions. I see your frustrations with your health as well and what your saying makes perfect sense to me. Thank you for suggesting a new doctor. But here in Canada we have to convince our GPS we need one.
I’m sorry to hear that but you would think not getting the information you need to care for yourself properly would be a good thing reason keep on her butt till you get your answers maybe annoying her will get the message a cross to her I would annoy her I’m to mine I have and she Finley gives me what I want to know because here in the states you have the right to see your test results and look at them as well as having access to all your medical information if you want to see it and if they don’t give it to you you can take them to court
I hope you get the help you are looking for and need sister have a great day 🌼🙏
Get a referral to another cardiologist, right away. It is your right. Tell your referring GP of your experience. If he/she balks, fire him/her as well. Life's too short to deal with specialists of any kind who can't abide your inquisitive nature or your wanting to be responsible about your own health problems.
You need to be assigned a Holter Monitor and wear it for at least 24 hours, but preferably for two or more days.
You might also ask for a polysomnography to determine the quality and typical durations of any apneas/hypopneas that might arouse you to the point where your heart is beginning to squawk.
