Not specifically. The Nevro rep says it can take many consecutive attempts to find the right program that works the best and that "best" varies from person to person. It's certainly not one size fits all. The unit is helping but I still haven't found the right one for m.
Tramadol is a narcotic that works well for a lot of people. I can't take it because it turns me into Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. I've found a combination of oxycodone and methadone works fairly well.
Yes, the Tramadol is for pain. The instructions don't mention having to take it at the same time as the Pregabalin but I do take them at the same time, simply because it is easier. I have had good results with pain management doing this.
The PT does help with balance but not long-term. I think there is a certain amount of lightheadedness that Pregabalin causes in me so I am often not sure if I am off-balance because of the PN in my feet or the lightheadedness. Also, I don't think I mentioned that I get a chiropractic adjustment every month. Have been doing that for many years, way before any of this other came about. All my docs (pain, ortho, PC, podiatrist) are on board with good chiropractic care.
Yes I have had it for 4 years.
Would you please tell us if you feel like it helped and to what degree? Thanks
Yes it does help me. It goes down the nerves in my legs and lower back. I don’t know what I’d do without it.
Mine was likely caused by B6 toxicity due to a a multi vitamin I was taking.. As soon as I stopped it, my B6 levels decreased dramatically. But by then, the nerve damage had been done. In my case, I just may have not yet found the right program with my SCS device since there are hundreds of program combinations available. If you do get one, I suggest writing a daily log as to what your pain levels are with the device activated. Otherwise you won't know which program works best for you.
I have a scs and it does work well for neuropathy in my feet
It helps me a great deal
Is this still an active group?
