Can Neuropathy be cured?
I’ve had P. neuropathy for 30 years. Just recently I’ve better controlled my blood sugar. So, I’m wondering if Neuropathy ever goes away, Or, if once the nerves are dead they’re just dead

For Loma Linda Medical University neuropathy Clinic call one 909-558-6799 for free consultation I talked to them and I'm hopeful that somehow I can go get treatment although it's not covered by insurance or MediCare at this time
@cgs and all - I thought I would post a link to the Loma Linda University Health - Neuropathic Therapy Center referenced in @cgs's posts. It's really not a "cure" but does offer some hope for pain relief for damaged nerves. Here's the site - https://lluh.org/services/neuropathic-therapy-center.
As with a lot of other treatments it seems to be originally directed at diabetic neuropathy but may help other types as well.

Thank you John I'm new at this I'm just trying to help I did have a phone call with the Loma Linda neuropathy Clinic I had a free video consultation with one of the physical therapy MD's and they sent me a packet of information and some testimonies and they do say that it does very from person to person and that it's not coded so that it can't be run through Medicare insurance yet that they tell you right off the bat that it's Cutting Edge thank you
from my knees down
I would like to add that in my present circumstances of not having the money. And I live in Ohio and and Loma Linda's in California. I still am praying and looking forward to possibly going out there and receiving the treatments. My doctor has told me that there's a limit to the Gabapentin that I can take and I would rather have nerves " rejuvinated" then take any meds.
I don't know how far along I am in that process my A1c is 6.4 and my Dr's say, my glucose is under control but Im not as sure. I know I do have a lot of apprehension about the future. Even though I am Christian and I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. I do feel pain like everyone else. I am praying that the treatment will be available and work. I can surely say I pray for God's comfort and healing for all of you.
Nerves eventually die off and the pain will go away. So thirty years that is more than likely what has happened. Do you have sensation in your feet?
