How many Covid vaccinations are appropriate..

My husband and I just got over Covid. We both have had 5 vaccines.
I was wondering if more vaccines were necessary or are boosters given every so many months. We are both 80 and wouldn't want to go through that again!!

I’m around your age and had Covid last Sept. I too do not want to go through that again. I’ve had all my shots, and will get whatever is next.
I really don’t care what others do.
Good luck to you.

I had my 2 bout of Covid in December 2022. I had had all 5 vaccines at the time. When and if another booster is recommended, I will get it.

FYI, the FDA approved the 4th. Booster shot without clinical trials. We don’t know what it will do as far of side effects or even efficacy.
I got it and got instant ear ringing. Saw my ENT and he said they are hearing this, no pun intended.
This is a partial cut & paste.

FDA's gamble on the new Covid boosters

Federal health officials hope that the new vaccines will provide stronger protection over the existing booster shots, which still target the original coronavirus strain. But the lack of data in humans means officials likely won’t know how much better the new shots are — if at all — until the fall booster campaign is well underway.

The FDA’s decision to move forward without data from human trials is a gamble, experts say, threatening to further lower public trust in the vaccines should the new boosters not work as intended.
