Has anyone had Nausea that won't go away.
I have been nauseous for months. I'm a 9 out of 10 ( 10 trowing up)
I have been taking Ondansetron 8mg without much success.
I don't know how much more I can take. It is torture.

Is it a little tiny pill that dissolves under your tongue? Kind of sweet?
Alison,
Wonderful if it works for you.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me.
I had nausea for months and when I started taking a probiotic it went away. It's called Trunature Advanced Digestive Probiotic and it is regulated with the USP code on the front of the box.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck,
Have you been to a gastroenterologist?
I have a date on the 16th. They will check my right side Bowel discomfort.
The Zofran(Odensatron) I have but does not do me anything.
When I get up mornings I am very nauseous. If I take 2 Lorazipam it slowly goes away. It seems I'm hooked on Lorazipam. If I don't take 2 in the morning and 1
at night, I get Nausea big time.
Sometimes gallbladder or reflux cause nausea. It will be interesting to see what your gastro says.
It’s also a common side effect of benzodiazepine. I didn’t realize it until I noticed whatever I tried to combat nausea wasn’t helping much but when I took an Ativan it would go away until to med wore off. I was shocked to discover that many of my symptoms benzodiazepine related. It’s wise to get checked out to be sure and hopefully your in a better place than I am, good luck.

First, how long have you been on benzos? What is your current dosage or taper?
What, besides Zofran, have you tried, both Rx and OTC?
It sounds benzo-related, particularly if your GI has checked you out, and without any issues there. I have experience with chronic nausea so I do know the “torture” of which you speak. I may be able to help you, with a little more info/history. Until then, hang in there and get some Prince of Peace ginger chews to chew for a little temporary relief.
Frouke,
I think that is the problem. When the Ativan wears off, the nausea starts.
Then when I take them, the nausea starts to decrease.
So if I am nauseous most of the time, am I not taking enough Ativan? and
that my body is getting used to the medication? And am hooked?
clutch,
I have been on one Benzo or another for a good 1-1/2 years.
I have taken them as prescribed. When I needed more on occasion,
I took one. But after a while I complained that they didn't help much
anymore, so he started me on another benzo. I have not tried anything
except Zofran and Ginger for nausea. I don't think Zofran is the answer
because if I take more Ativan as I said in the above post, the nausea
for the most part slowly goes away.
