YES I DID, AFTER 4 ADJUSTMENTS AND SEVERAL CALLS THAT WERE PROMISED BY THEIR TECTS, AND NEGATIVE RESULTS, I HAD IT REMOVED, BOSTON SCIENTIFIC WAS THE IMPLANT.
Dont do it. The permanent never works like the trial and all their promises.
Dont use Nevro. The permanent device doesnt work and the staff to handle you afterwards are liars and horrible. They shouldnt be in the medical field. Nevro should be investigated.
I wish they had a MAYO clinic on the Eat Coast.
Should always spell check. That should be East Coast.
I love my nevro. I have had it for 6 years and wouldn't complain outside normal wear and tear. It has taken me from barely being able to walk without falling, to being fairly self sufficient.
Hello @dixiedoo2000, Welcome to Connect. Thanks for sharing your experience with the Nevro spinal cord stimulator. That has to be a great feeling having your life and mobility back minus the pain.
Have you had to make any other lifestyle changes due to having the Nevro implant?
Some lifestyle changes, and not everyone experiences the results I have. You have to make sure to let the company know if any MRIs you have as the system has to be shut off. Not a real fan of the placement of the battery, but it's more of an irritation than anything.
I've had Abbott SCS for about 4 years. It is specifically for Siatic nerve pain. After 2 adjustments the pain was gone! For some reason I guess I lost my controller. 12 hours took me back to the liquid fire in my legs. Controller replaced - turned off leg pain like light switch! It works!
Have increased power to near max . Am feeling much relief at lower level pain. Still have some sharp burning intermittently - not as severe as before.
