Swollen Lymph Node (Neck) as a Result of Covid Virus

Hello, I had a mild case of covid-19 in May. The lymph node in my neck swelled and hasn't yet reduced in size. I rarely if ever have had swollen lymph nodes. My PC gave me an antibiotic which did not help. Has anyone else experienced this?

10 days acute Cov symptoms w/pos test (hx-49 yo healthy f, no pre existing etc)
5 days after negative test (still feeling unwell) I developed a nasty hive like rash w itching…5 days after that swollen lymph nodes and sore throat is back… cough never quite went away….
What the heck should I expect next? Boils?

Post covid almost year started with 3 large 1” round and 1” deep painful bumps on stomach. Then several episodes back of thigh, hip, foot, shoulder, throat, back of neck. Throat/neck bumps protruding inward caused gagging and difficulty breathing. Pcp feels erythema nodusum and extensive areas/symptoms fit more erythema multiforme. Finally dermatology appt in February yet no guarantee bumps present at that time and pictures dont show how deep they are etc☹️ Hope this gives helpful diagnosis route to pursue🤞

Hello,
I just wanted post a follow-up to this since I've finally come through it all. After having a CT scan in the early stage of developing the lump, and two ultrasound biopsies in the following couple of months, it could not be definitively determined as to the nature of the lump. It was uncertain if it was a lymph node, a cyst, or something else. It could not be determined if it was malignant. As a result, a had surgery to perform an excisional biopsy. It turned out to be a benign cyst. With regard to covid, I want to restate that the cyst was not present (or at least not visible) prior to having covid. In my opinion, covid aggravated the cyst and caused it to either develop or increase in size to where it became now visible. Prior to covid, I had no visible evidence that a cyst was present.

I have swollen lymph nodes, one on each side of my neck. They are located at the base of my neck and at times are quite big. very pliable. I have been to my PC, and my cardiologist. I have had blood tests and a CT scan. Everything came back normal. This is very perplexing. Also I have developed on my chest, just under the chin and neck area skin that is very very sensitive. it actually hurts to be touched. I don't know if this is all related or not. I did have COVID last year late fall.
Any comments would be appreciated.

@mimiskip, it sounds like you're still looking for answers. Have you consulted with an ear, nose and throat specialist?

I have the same thing. I'm going to an ent for the constant nasal drip after covid, but I should also mention my lymph node too. But I agree, I would go down the surgery route immediately either unless cancer was found.

I had COVID December of 21 and then May of 22 and then RSV with my kids this past February of 23. Right before I was diagnosed with RSV about a week and a half I found the quite big lymph nodes on each side of my neck. I waited to see my doctor for it until about 3 weeks ago thinking it's still just fighting. Well I had an ultrasound with the left side measures 17 and the right side 12. CT scan with contrast just showed blood flow was normal and they look like clusters. Was put on an antibiotic and there's no change. One thing the doctor did mention was it could be from when I had COVID.
