Pretty sure it is RLS
Woke up early Oct 2022 with sore calves, several days later tingling in feet and lower legs along with forearms and hands. Since then progressively worse and have horrible feelings on legs cause sleep issues. Had all the tests, leg ultrasounds, bloodwork, and nerves studies all normal. Only issue was low B12 from the beginning of testing which has been corrected and all started about 8 weeks after bout with COVID. Started Gabupenton about 3 weeks ago out of desperation for some rest. My primary feels it is RLS based on symptoms but who knows…anyone have RLS that can share any thing about some successes to combat symptoms

Correct…i forgot the D. Sorry to be so inquisitive but I am trying to zero in the right meds. The gabapentin works pretty good and helps with sleep but wondering if I am having some negative reactions to it. I did not take all day yesterday until bed time and had a great day . Took 600mg at bedtime and slept pretty good, about 6 hours but having some pins and needles I did not have yesterday so was thinking of going to the ropinrole the doc gave me and see if that works better than the the gab…ropinrole is essentially your requip.
When symptoms first arrived I had some blood work done and I was B12 deficient for some reason. So my doc gave my B12 shots to get my numbers up thinking it could be the cause of the tingling and pins and needles
Was it part of the problem?
Don’t know yet, a B12 deficiency can cause the pins and needles and nerve issues I have and can take up to 6-12 months to resolve but I have not had to much improvement the last 5 months so losing hope the B12 deficiency was the issue…but still could be a contributor. Whatever kicked this off was sudden. 6 months ago I was fine then just one morning I had sore calves and then tingling and now this…sucks
Diagnostic criteria for RLS
