Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?
Has anyone taken Evenity? I understand it’s only been on the market for a little over a year. I’m hoping it will help with my severe osteoporosis. Any information is helpful.

(which gives me an idea...why not post the question for doc recommendation here in Orange County, Ca!)

3 ReactionsHas anyone had any luck getting help with the payment for Evenity? I contacted the manufacturer and was told I am not eligible for help with the copay since I am on Medicare. Medicare pays 80% of the drug cost and I am responsible for 20% of the drug cost or $400 a month. Any suggestions would really be helpful. Thank you to everyone

3 ReactionsTeb, you gave me an idea. Where in NY were you from? I'm in Fairfield County CT, borderline Litchfield County CT. If you were close on the NY /CT border I'd be interested in the Dr you used.

2 ReactionsJune of 2022?
I have taken Evenity; I had only 3 of the 12 doses because I had some side effects that had not been listed yet. My doctor took the initiative and called the manufacturer and was advised that maybe I wasn’t a good candidate. I have transitioned to Reclast. Check your insurance with Evenity can be pricey if you don’t have good coverage. The side effects I had were just recently reported; I chose not to be an experimental subject.

5 ReactionsI did not have osteo when I lived in NY/NJ so unfortunately, I have no docs to recommend. Hopefully someone will come along that can recommend someone good for you.
