Anyone taken Evenity (romosozumab) for Osteoporosis?
Has anyone taken Evenity? I understand it’s only been on the market for a little over a year. I’m hoping it will help with my severe osteoporosis. Any information is helpful.

originally from NY, now living in CA. You?
(which gives me an idea...why not post the question for doc recommendation here in Orange County, Ca!)
Has anyone had any luck getting help with the payment for Evenity? I contacted the manufacturer and was told I am not eligible for help with the copay since I am on Medicare. Medicare pays 80% of the drug cost and I am responsible for 20% of the drug cost or $400 a month. Any suggestions would really be helpful. Thank you to everyone
I had one injection of Evenity before stopping to have a dental implant.
Can you tell me how long you were off of Evenity from the time you stopped to the time you started back up again?
I had my one injection in June 2023 and have not started back yet. I have the final appointment with the oral surgeon in April.
In CT. Great idea posting here for Dr recommendations.
Teb, you gave me an idea. Where in NY were you from? I'm in Fairfield County CT, borderline Litchfield County CT. If you were close on the NY /CT border I'd be interested in the Dr you used.
June of 2022?
I have taken Evenity; I had only 3 of the 12 doses because I had some side effects that had not been listed yet. My doctor took the initiative and called the manufacturer and was advised that maybe I wasn’t a good candidate. I have transitioned to Reclast. Check your insurance with Evenity can be pricey if you don’t have good coverage. The side effects I had were just recently reported; I chose not to be an experimental subject.
I did not have osteo when I lived in NY/NJ so unfortunately, I have no docs to recommend. Hopefully someone will come along that can recommend someone good for you.
