Medical marijuana for sleep disorders?
I have tried to research this topic on the internet but like everything else, it is difficult to weed truth from fiction.
Does anyone have first-hand knowledge of medical or street pot? How it might help or hinder sleep issues. Doctors are reluctant to talk about it. I am sick and tired of chasing my tail around, throwing money at. If CPAP doesn't work you get sent to a shrink and put on another antidepressant with all kinds of unpleasant side effects. CBD oil did nothing for me and the last time I smoked pot was probably 50 years ago. I will try just about anything to get one good night's sleep.

Honestly sounds like you have narcolepsy. I also have stupid long dreams every night and that's what I was diagnosed with after the sleep studies.
I was also prescribed a CPAP for mild apnea and there was no way in hell to sleep with that snorkel mask on.
Have you ever tried an anti-anxiety medication? I find anxiety can cause bad dreams. Prescription Ativan works well.
hi @mazeppabob the issue you describe its the exact problem i been having too, i went to a doctor and after a really long process, a sleep study and a nose surgery nothing has changed.
seems like no one has any working solution to this "epic dreaming" condition. I am 19 years old and i would be really interested in knowing more about you, what do you do or used to do for a living, learning how this sleep disorder affected your life, etc.
send me a message if you are interested in talking about that.
Hello! Did you find your solution I am in the same boat
I have been a MMMP in the state os Michigan since 2008.
It has many benefits beyond sleep aid.
What works for me are hemp gummies containing cbd and Cbn. I believe these are legal in all 50 states.

1 ReactionMy 80-year-old PCP actually encouraged me to try THC Gummies for sleep. I think the medical field is getting up to speed
I find pure THC in the form of indica (gummies or capsules) can be magical for sleep. Smoking or vaping might get you to sleep, but it may not keep you asleep. Because edibles (gummies or capsules) have to go through the digestive tract (stomach) they take longer for your body to use and keep you asleep longer.

1 ReactionI took Trazodone for years but started to experience a side effect so I did research on Mirtazapine low doses that are sedatious and my doc agreed to it. The lowest dose puts me to sleep for about 6 hours. Give it a try. Also if you have a depressive issue, this med will help with that at a higher dosage w/o a sexual side effect which is rare among anti-depressants.
no more pharmaceuticals for myself, other than what I am stuck on until death, if possible.
But thank you.
