I probably used to put enough ice cream in one bowl to equal three servings along with crushed candy bars, nuts, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whip cream, or whatever else I was in the mood for. But I rarely eat ice cream nowadays.
I’m afraid I’m going to have to disagree with Dalai on this.

Thank you, Trish. I have a feeling Depakote is to blame for all of my son’s difficulties 🤦‍♀️. And like your son, not eating well or taking very good care of himself. Didn’t know meds could be given once per day… that may help consistency. I believe in trying to eat well and take vitamins to optimize health for all issues… he is just not capable at his age. I was impressed that Pychiatrist mentioned D and B… so important for mood, energy and immune system. I’ve read D should be much higher than what blood test shows as “normal” … optimal levels are 60-80) . It does help to know I’m not alone in my concerns, thank you for reaching out. God bless.

Glad I made contact with you! What I have done in the past and I think I will try again is those Boost drinks. Its a way I can get some vitamins in him without the concept of having to take more pills consistently. They make them that say extra B vitamins. May not be the best but at least it is something, and I know he will drink them in the mornings before work because he isn't much of a breakfast eater which is another issue for me:(

Santosha, I love this quote from the book! I finally ordered mine since I couldn’t view at sons house. What a profound quote (and I had to laugh since I was “ice cream ill “yesterday!)

Hi Jake, Good Morning (@jakedduck1)
I do also love ice-cream, eating two or maybe three balls in a row when it is very warm over here.
Perhaps, Dalai Lama's example was not the best one. But again, all with moderation. One ball might be sublime, and the second and third ones are delicious, but certainly an ice-cream pot gives indigestion rsrsrs.
Have a nice Day!

Hi @baa, Good Morning
You will love this book, I believe. It is much more detailed than the documentary I have mentioned. I have posted some quotes from the first chapters I have read of this book in the post "Positive Experiences through Epilepsy". Have a look!
Hope all is well with you today. Have a good day 🙂
