Abdomen inflamado

Es mi primer operación, no se que hacer. Llevo una semana de la operación y mi abdomen se inflama bastante ,duele ,puedo hacer mis necesidades fisiológicas . Es normal que se inflame ?

@ulisestorres, Welcome to Connect. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain and swelling after your surgery.
I am a transplant recipient and my experience after my surgery was reduced abdominal fluids (ascites and edema) that were a result of liver and kidney failure. After the surgery the fluid and swelling were reduced greatly, although I had drainage tubes to allow continuing drainage for a short time. My only pain was related to the surgery and was controlled by pain meds in the hospital.
With any surgery, there can be a chance of infection. I believe that your described swelling and pain after surgery needs to be examined by a doctor.
Have you talked to your surgeon about this swelling and pain? Are you a transplant patient?
