Hi @jakedduck1

Very interesting study, thank you for sharing it with us, Leonard.

Curiosity, have those who had Covid perceived any changes in their seizure pattern after it? I thankfully did not have Covid. So, I can not share any experience in this respect.

However, I had a very bad experience with the vaccine of J&J, which clearly has increased my seizures. During 10 days I had an average of 11/12 seizures, simple partial and complex partial ones, every day. Did someone have this experience with this vaccine or with any other against Covid?

I tested for covid today after starting to feel really bad - weak and achy, no temp (yet), very runny nose and slight sore throat. Test was negative but will re-test in morning. Is it safe to take Tylenol? Or is that a question for neurologist? Also, can I sleep without my cpap due to nasal drainage? Sorry - could not get in touch with doc.

Hi @baa

Really sorry to hear that from you. I have heard from some of my contacts in the States that there is also a strong flu pandemic going on in your country that is even stronger than Covid. Perhaps you got the flu and not the Covid, check it with a doctor.
I can not tell you if it is safe to take Tylenol, I recommend you talk to your doctor.
Get well!

Was able to see a doc today and did test positive for covid. That was the worst headache I have ever had! So, I have a list of vitamins and things to take, along with antibiotic. I feel good today except for a mild headache hanging on. This strain is so contagious the doc said she has seen folks who have had covid 3-5 times. I never go out without a mask, but apparently was not efficient enough with hand washing!

Hi @baa

Good you have seen a doctor today. This new Covid wave is definitely more contagious, but on the other side, it is milder than the previous ones, even milder than the current flu wave.
Get well and take care!

Good morning! Other than the isolation I did not have any complications from covid(that I am aware of). I do not experience the frequency of seizures as most who post here; so far no increase from experiencing the virus. We have been hit with this ice storm which has increased my isolation and ready to get outside! Have a wonderful week ahead -

Hello and thanks for asking. I am sure I experienced a mild case of covid compared to what many have had. The first 36 hrs were very bad with terrible headache and weakness. After that just getting through the dizziness and congestion. I am grateful I did not have the sore throat. I have to say facing the isolation again was not pleasant. I am fine now and thank you for asking. Hoping all is well with you!
