Hi Jordan @sfn, I see that you've already connected with Chris @artscaping which is great. You will notice that we moved your post to an existing discussion here:
--- Neuropathy - Do Compression Stockings Help?: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/neuropathy-25/.
If you click the link it will take you to the first post in the discussion where you can scroll through the posts and learn what other members have shared on compression hose and socks when you have neuropathy. I've been wearing them for the past 4 years or so due to having another condition, lymphedema. The compression socks help control the swelling in my legs. I wear mine rain or shine from the time I get up until going to bed. At night I wear a pair of long diabetic loose fit socks mainly so that I can easily tell if I injure my feet somehow on my nightly trips to the bathroom.
Have you tried support hose or compression socks to see if they help?

Stocking and yoga pants
I’m have mixed feelings on use of compression socks. I use the ankle compression socks for reduction in swollen ankles when standing too much during the day but other than that, see no evidence of helping the neuropathy I have which is tingling but primarily at night. Obviously only gabapetin helps
me sleep.
I’d be curious to hear opinions from others.
Thanks.

2 ReactionsThat's a good thought. I will give it a try. I have noticed that when I wear snug socks, my feet do feel a bit better but I didn't make the correlation. Thanks
Charles, I too have pain in my feet. I use several things to deal with it but I just read on this thread someone mentioned Ben gay I believe. I personally can't handle that smell but I can handle Lidocaine 4% lotion on my feet which pretty much numbs my feet and takes away all of the pain. Perhaps you could consider this

Good post. I have severe PN and vascular-related edema. I've found that ankle-height compression socks (20-30 mm Hg) help with PN pain and imbalance as well as the edema. The brand was SB SOX and purchased through Amazon. I've found I can wear them for at least 12 hours a day.

8 ReactionsI’m wondering if anyone has heard of Aswagandha. Apparently this comes as a powder or capsule and is good for a multitude of health issues. I googled it and it does look like something to try for neuropathy. My understanding is that it helps nerves heal faster.

2 ReactionsGood evening, as you noticed, I did not use a support hose, just the leggings/yoga pants. I bought most of them at Costco made by national brands. Some of the fabrics are recycled which is a good thing. You need pockets and a high waistband. I also found it easier to size up one level. Most sell for $10-$15.
Good luck finding helpful clothing.
