I was diagnosed with TEA 4 years ago.
Hello @albendorf and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I see that @genekranz has joined you to share that they also have experienced a diagnosis with TEA. Another member, @kyoto has also shared receiving the diagnosis. I am hoping they can both share a little with you.
At this point, how are you being treated and what are your main concerns that others may be able to provide support on?
I am experiencing various degrees of chronic headaches. Just curious if they also have these. My seizure was a grand mal seizure where I woke up in the ER. Also wondering what type of seizure they had? Thanks, just want to talk to someone with same issues.
I've been fortunate - no headaches, no hospital admission. I'm sorry to hear about your experience.
My seizures are very mild, and their frequency seems to be pretty well controlled (though not eliminated) with lamotrigine 150 mg twice a day.
I'm going to try to attach some academic papers that I've accumulated over the last few years and might be helpful to you.

Thanks for the information. You’ve done a lot of research on it. I was concerned about the severity of my attacks. I’m going to get a second opinion on my diagnosis and treatment this spring. Amazed at how long it takes to see a neurologist. Hope you are doing well and would like to stay in touch.
