Can Neuropathy be cured?
I’ve had P. neuropathy for 30 years. Just recently I’ve better controlled my blood sugar. So, I’m wondering if Neuropathy ever goes away, Or, if once the nerves are dead they’re just dead

Myopathy treatment possible
What is the "cure"? And who can administer the "cure"?
You will need to spend ten of thousands first and then research and finally told that there is 'NO CURE' !
Your absolutely right!
Irfan, Myopathy is a general term that refers to diseases that affect the muscles that connect to your bones (skeletal muscles). Myopathies may be passed on in families (inherited) or they may develop later in life (acquired).
It appears from the medical reports that you attached that you are looking for a cure. Most inherited and genetic myopathies don’t have a specific treatment or cure. Physical therapists and occupational therapists can help manage symptoms and work with you to create a treatment plan.
If you would like to seek the opinion of Mayo Clinic experts, you can submit a request for an appointment here: http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
Please note that I removed your medical reports since they contained personal identifying and sensitive medical identification. If you wish to post, please remove your name, patient ID number and names of doctors, etc.
7 years post diagnosis idiopathic PN, First, my heart goes out to all those warriors who are standing tall in the face of horrible PN.
To date as far as I can tell...Yes PN has been cured and all you have to do is pay big $$$ for a pill, powder, electrically charge etc but what I mean is that there are disease gangsters out there who will take all your $ because they know you are desperate and vulnerable and they do not give a rat's ass about you your suffering...just your $. To my knowledge and I would never posture that I know more than what you might dig up on an internet search or talking with your doc there is at present NO CURE FOR NEUROPATHY. Those nerves are not just involved they are on their last breath. There is only one company WinSanTor that has done and is doing anything along the lines of "promising" research and in trials but, this does NOT MEAN THAT THERE IS A CURE. This is our fate currently. I wish it were different. Never the less, be hopeful, be active, be optimistic and be damn happy about life in general.
Love, Chris
What about peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetic conditions?
Welcome @jackhickey, diabetic neuropathy is probably the one neuropathy where it might be possible to treat the cause of neuropathy with the possibility of reversing the symptoms of neuropathy in my non medical opinion.
This isn't related to diabetic neuropathy but it is about reversing type 2 diabetes and might be helpful -- Dr Jay Wortman Diabetes Remission is Surprisingly Simple!
Have you been diagnosed with neuropathy caused by diabetes?
There's a 50% or less chance that Rituximab can help people with Anti MAG Antibodies.
