How to improve sleep using data from sleep trackers
I’ve always slept a lot(8.5+ hours) Recently it’s been 9-9.5. Otherwise my health is good. A health professional suggested it may be because I don’t have quality sleep. I’ve used various sleep trackers and they all say I’m getting too little deep sleep. I now stop caffeine at 10am, have my occasional glass of wine 4hours before bed, exercise daily, stop using screens 1 hour before
bed and still have very little deep sleep. What else can I do?

@mwebste1, One thing that has helped me was sticking to a sleep schedule. I found this out after being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea through a sleep study. Here are a few references with suggestions for improving your sleep quality:

Have you considered talking with or seeing a sleep medicine doctor?
I have the same problem with deep sleep. My Fitbit tracker also shows my HR constantly going up and down.
How do trackers know your actually asleep?
Do a search for "Actigraphy Watch" for info. The Sleep Foundation has helpful information.
