Yes it kicked in and I am back to normal. No more insomnia, sweats or any other reaction. Thank you for inquiring!

@lueeze, @susaninvt, and all....Your recent comments just popped out at me on the notifications as I read about your Premarin experiences. I had a tough time during menopause years ago and had a monthly shot of estrogen meds that kept from going through my stomach and digestive tract and gave me wonderful relief for years. During the loud conversations about the evils of estrogen replacement, I finally stopped the shots and began using an over-the-counter Estroven. This was helpful as I was at the end of what I thought was my menopause journey, but not as good as the shots.

I continue having night sweats, some hot flashes, and other issues to this day and I'll be 76 in February. I have multiple illnesses to which I attributed these symptoms, but after a good friend just restarted estrogen replacement at age 80 for these issues and is having excellent results, I'm discussing this with my doctor asap. I think it's time for me to restart this medication. And, definitely for my quality of living.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and leading me to further investigation.
Blessings, ess

How long did it take until you felt the effects after restarting the premarin?
